Capt. Patrick Fisher received the MOAA  2023 Col. Marvin J. Harris Communications 5-star Award for his outstanding Newsletter.


The WICMOAA Chapter also received MOAA 2023 5-star Col. Marvin J. Harris Communications  Award for this Website and the 2023 5-Star Level of Excellence award for overall chapter performance.

              NAS Whidbey O'Club Re-Open, after remodel. WICMOAA was there Picking up new members!

              Patrick, Pat, and Terry set up a recruiting table.  Probably recruited 25-30 to Join MOAA and 1 for WICMOAA.  Thank you Patrick and Pat.

              WICMOAA Helping Active and Retired Officers since 1968

              The Whidbey Island Chapter Military Officers Association of America (WICMOAA) is an independent, self-governing organization affiliated with National MOAA by mutual agreement.  

              PURPOSES 

              • To promote the purposes and objectives of the Military Officers Association of America. 
              • To foster fraternal relations among active, retired and former officers of the uniformed services. 
              • To protect rights and interests of personnel of the uniformed services and their dependents and survivors. 
              • To serve the community and the nation. 

              BENEFITS 

              • Camaraderie with other officers adds enjoyment to military service and retirement.  
              • Information is disseminated on DOD policy and legislative actions that affect MOAA members. 
              • A newsletter containing information ranging from national to local interest and issues that face our members.
