MOAA is the country's leading organization protecting the rights of military service members and their families. MOAA Members not only lend their voices to a greater cause, but they also gain access to extensive benefits tailored to the needs and lifestyles of military officers.
MOAA's greatest mission is to improve the lives of those who serve and their families, which is achieved largely through the tireless advocacy efforts taking place in our nation's capital.
MOAA's experts in Washington are there to support legislation that benefits the military community and are equally vigilant when fighting to stop legislation that threatens our livelihood. The larger our numbers, the greater our voice.
MOAA national is made up primarily of retired officers from every branch with the same goal in mind.
When you raised your hand and promised you would basically do anything the military said, MOAA feels the government should also keep its promises in Pay, Benefits, and Retirement.
MOAA does not Advocate just for officers. The Advocacy they take on typically impacts all services, all grades, Active, retired or just a veteran member of the service.
MOAA Advocates at the national level in Washington DC.
WICMOAA, one of the nine chapters in the Washington Council of Chapters.
Like National MOAA, when our council goes to Olympia to protect the rights of military service members and their families, the membership numbers are key to obtaining state legislators attention.
When Olympia is in session, Washington council meets with legislators every Friday.
